RAID: World War II – Update 4

Welcome to another Patch update!

We are working on a few exciting things in the background so bear with us as we get those ready for you. More news on all that soon TM!

Here are a few things we did for this week’s patch.

Future Content / Thursday Announcement

We can’t say too much just yet, but we are working really hard to create some super exciting content for you all! Thursday this week we will announce a little part of it, but we want you to know you have some really cool things we think coming up!

Balance

We reviewed Bunkers that we felt still needed some attention. It needed more covers, places to funnel enemies especially in open areas. Where the player could get swamped by many enemies with nowhere to hide., especially at the rear of the level behind the bunker.

On top of that we worked on some AI navigation on some other levels.
We will continue doing passes on other levels as we review and get the community feedback.

German Version

The German version now has unmuted VO and all languages available. We are closely monitoring the laws surrounding Nazi iconography, and as soon as it allows us to we will put the German version in line with the global version.

Future Fixes / Updates

We want you to know that if your fix or issue isn’t yet dealt with, we review all posts and other channels. We are paying attention, and we are working on some of them behind the scenes. Weekly patches are just one way for us to get updates to you on a regular basis!
This update to RAID: World War 2 includes the following changes and fixes:

GAMEPLAY
  • Revised and improved the balance of Bunker Busters, including adding more cover and supplies, and removing some of the enemy machinegun nests on the initial approach to the bunker itself - please let us know what you think of the changes!
  • Fixed some broken reward spawns on Bunker Busters
  • Improved AI navigation on Gold Rush
  • Improved AI navigation on Strongpoint
  • Improved AI navigation on various parts of the Berlin map used Operations
  • Fixed an issue with enemy spawns on Last Orders
  • Fixed some issues that could allow enemies to shoot through walls on Strongpoint and Odin’s Fall
  • Fixed various issues with the enemy corpses that must be hidden in the early stages of Last Orders
  • Updated and improved the locations of Greed items on many maps
LOCALIZATION
  • Players in Germany should now have access to the fully localized version of the game in all all available languages (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Russian)
  • The muting of certain words and phrases in the voice over of the German version of the game has been removed
UI/UX
  • Updated the way the game calculates the ‘Accuracy’ rating on the Weapons screen, and the ratings should now better reflect the relative accuracy of different weapons - note that the accuracy/spread stats of weapons have not changed, just the formula used to give them a 1-100 rating
GRAPHICS
  • Fixed various visual issues with the Thompson M1A1, C96 Mauser and Webley Mk VI, and added new animated parts to the Webley
  • Updated and improved the German Knuckleduster visuals
  • Fixed and improved several visual elements of the Camp and camp upgrades
  • Fixed some enemy animation issues at the start of Bunker Busters
  • Fixed an issue on Bunker Busters that could cause dead enemies to get stuck in walls
  • Fixed some visual issues on Strongpoint
  • Fixed some visual issues on Gold Rush
  • Fixed several graphical issues that could be caused by climbing on top of things at various points in The Amber Room
  • Fixed some visual issues in various parts of the Berlin map used in Operations
  • Fixed some visual issues when driving the Kübelwagen at certain FoV settings or when looking around at certain angles
  • Fixed some visual issues that could cause parts of the Kübelwagen to flicker

OTHER FIXES
  • Fixed an issue that could cause a crash when driving the Kübelwagen
  • Fixed various issues that could cause the player to get stuck on some levels
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the player to become ‘invisible’ to enemies on Wiretap
  • Fixed some issues that could cause the player to fall ‘out of the world’ on Strongpoint and Last Orders
  • Fixed several collision issues on The Amber Room
